Friends,

A Famous Spanish Novelist Called Miguel de Cervantes Once wrote:
"Tell me what company thou keepst, and I'll tell thee what thou art."(1547 - 1616) .

Even the Bible says one shall be know by your friends. These are the people that shape and mold us we should then pick them wisely.

A very good friend of mine once asked me "Have I told you I love you today?" Such sweet and gentle words when someone means them. I have very few friends, but all my friends are my best friends. They say you can't choose your family, but I say this is not true since I have picked my Family (Friends) like they have picked me.

Friends are there when you fall; to carry you when the battle of life beats you down and there when the rays of the sun glitters on you face as you watch days go by in joy. A friend is not just a person, they are support systems which none of us can survive without. Friends are family.

I have been thinking the past week: How we pass a million different people every day and never even notice them. Many times I have wondered what all these people must be doing, thinking and where is the road leading them.

Then It came to me while I was sitting in traffic the other morning... 46 million people in South Africa sleep under the same sky and most of them at the same time. Sound stupid, but everyday we all go to bed and sleep the night away till the break of day. This is one thing we don't have to wonder about.

What a small thing, but what a strange thing to think. We all dream although we can not always remember that we did.

Just a Small thought for the day....

The African sun is setting on the castle on the mountain and I watch the world go by outside the large gates. The people are rushing home to start the weekend and leave the work week far behind till next Monday...

Wednesdays use to be like a mini weekend here under the African skies, but few do the mini weekend these days since the economy has gone so wrong.... I was reading my favourite blog called the dabagirls and I must Say these women have such a great life even if the economy is pressing down on them. Their lives are like Hollywood stars for me since very few if any have home in the Hampton's and have beautiful apartments in the City. I admire these women speaking out about there situations. many want to hid things under the rug and after a while there is a big hump which become visible to the rest of the world. My believe is let it out since there are sure to be others just like you.

I love new york since I had the oppertunity to live there. Many have asked why do y…

Hi There....

I've always wanted to share with people who I am....

I think there is many of us out there that think and feel the same even if we don't all know each other, but with modern technology it's very possible to connect with one another and share a piece of our lives with each other....

I was reading the paper yesterday and there was an article about these Manhattan women that started a blog about their financier husbands and boyfriends that is suffering because of the credit crunch and how this has caused distress within their own lives.

They inspired me and I loved their blog so much that I wanted to start my own. It is interesting to read what others feel no matter what walk of life they are from.... I don't care if any one reads my blog or not I just want to talk.....

But where is my manners...
