Captured Life of Us

In the Fields of Far-Far Away I dreamt you came to stay.... I had a dream of you once more.... The dream did not disappear when morning came, but stayed hidden from the world.... I dreamt I was laughing and spinning around.... I was happy once more.... ...Ah the smell of apple-mint and a fresh ocean breeze made it real. You were the one spinning me around in your arms. I felt safe and protected from the World's harm... For a moment I asked God to tell me it is real... but all I could hear was my laughter.... the rays of the sun was touching every part of my skin.... the moment felt like an eternity.... I watching the world go by while spinning around.... Why do I keep dreaming of you? It is driving me crazy..... Maybe you were the one I was suppose to end up if my life turned out differently... How will I ever know.... In the fields of Far-Far Away I was praying you could one day come and stay....

What is pure Love: this question have been haunting my thoughts of late....
I look around and realise that the world is missing the concept. God gave us the whole explanation in his Book. Why then do we still miss the point.... Love, real pure love to me is when our hearts and minds are honest and open, when we are sincere and we love others with no terms and conditions.... It is far more than a fuzzy feeling..... Once someone told me that the Opposite of love is not hate, but it is rather indifference. With hate we still care. There is still hope that Love will grow....

Before I start I just wanted to say Thank You to all my Cape Town friends for an amazing weekend.

We Arrived in Cape Town early Friday morning in Paris Hilton style with a hundred bags and suite cases…. We were only short the Cats and the Bird to complete the picture… One would never have guessed we were locals traveling for a couple of days. I mean honestly I would put most women to shame…

We are those “Incase Packers”: In case we go out we need this, in case it rains we need that and most import if we meet the man of our dreams we need to look like something from a Runway in Paris Fashion week…. I mean honestly “Drink ons nie meer in die Huis nie”. We didn’t want to be one of those placing an add in the Huisgenoot’s “Hoekie vir die Alleen en Eensaam”.

I have never done a Mac Donald walk through with such fun people. Fred, you did a good job playing the role of the father and Hannes you as the role of winy brat kid. Abrie the food was as usual absolutely Fabulous and you truly sh…

When looking back over the past couple of years I realise once more how much I have learned in this journey called life. My friends have really taught me so much.... I am so Blessed....

About 11 years ago I had hipnosis and while dreaming away my psychologist asked me to look into a pond. The pond's reflection looking back at me is the person I really would like to be. At that stage of my life I felt like nothing, but in the pond was a reflection of me Happy and Free....


A reflection without those that hated me....

I never thought the reflection would come true, but now at almost 30 I look back and see characteristics of that person in the reflection. I hoped that this will have been my journey. My friends all played a role in this and I have found my way back to that pond today. Still looking at the reflection, still hoping I will never loose that person. Never want to be that empty again..... God has send me friends that have been my saving Grace.....

Chapter 1

The dim winter morning sun was shining through the big sky lined windows of apartment 202 C. The sun’s rays touched the wall lined with photos of people laughing and holding each other. These were the happy moments, the ones we love, the ones we all froze in time within our memory. In the silence the frozen memories once again relived these vivid memories of the past.

The centre picture is the largest and contains 3 very good looking guys holding each other around the neck playfully smiling at the camera: David the only dark headed olive skinned, Greek looking guy in the centre, Jacques the shortest and most athletic build of the three with straight spiked up blond hair and to the right is Heindro the skinny, with milky white skin, tall, shaved head with the dimples carved deep into his cheeks. No one would ever guess that this friendship would end in a love triangle and heart ache.
