A WORD

They say that words and the tongue can have immense powers. I mean God created the World with words.

Two years back I gave this African Lady that works for someone in my complex a ride. While driving she asked me how I was.... My reaction was the same as always: "I am broke.." and then the surprise of my life...

This women that I gave a ride turned to me and said: "No your not. You should never say that, because words have power... No matter if you have nothing always say you are blessed... You have a car, food and some where to sleep..I mean you can see, hear and walk.."

At first I was taken aback and upset with her. I mean how dare she tell me what to say and think... In my heart I knew what she said is true... I mean she was a Zimbabwean lady with no home really living far from her home country and still she thought she was blessed....

Beautiful Thing (Open Minded People Only)

A heart felt movie that plays out in the working class area in South East London... The movie shows us the less glamorous side of London and the social problems of the poorer community...

The movie is all about two boys Jamie (played by Glen Berry) and Ste (played by Scott Neal) who learns how to accept there sexuality and love for one another, but this is not without it's obstacles...

Jamie's mom is an over ambitious women with a string of boyfriends and Ste has an abusive alcoholic father and a drug pusher brother. In the end they find that with hope and love comes acceptance.... They find a beautiful thing....

It is a must see Movie....

What is pure Love: this question have been haunting my thoughts of late....
I look around and realise that the world is missing the concept. God gave us the whole explanation in his Book. Why then do we still miss the point.... Love, real pure love to me is when our hearts and minds are honest and open, when we are sincere and we love others with no terms and conditions.... It is far more than a fuzzy feeling..... Once someone told me that the Opposite of love is not hate, but it is rather indifference. With hate we still care. There is still hope that Love will grow....
