The Journey....

What a year..... It has been really hard and at same time its been full of Blessings..... I am so over this year and at the same time I am so grateful that I could learn so much from this journey called life.

I have learnt so much from my friends and about myself.... I have realised once again that learning must never stop. Life should be a journey and you should write lessons you learn on your heart and soul so you can grow.

Because without growth there can be no progress. The word dynamic started to make new sense to me. One must be dynamic as a person. LIFE's Road is not straight and open... It is windy and over grown. You never know what will happen next. This is what makes life so exciting.

So seek the windy road in life and take it one step at a time.... there will be pain and sorrow but there will also be great joy and fulfillment.....Engrave lessons deep into your heart and soul and learn because this is the only way you will grow.

While sitting at work I started thinking that this year is almost over.... It really went past quickly for me. The year had many challenges, but I was Blessed beyond my wildest expectation. God is awesome... and because of a specific Blessing I get the opportunity to see my friends in London. I can not wait since we haven't seen each other in ages....

I woke up today with this empty feeling inside, knowing that things will never be the same again.... My Heart slip away.... The world is still spinning around.... and I feel the fresh air of spring coming around... My friend Nix always say: "My friend and this shall too pass away..." and Andrea say "don't worry your life away..." I hold on to these words they keep me going.... When life beats you down... Cry... Scream... and then GET UP AGAIN.... Dust yourself off... the gray sky will change again.... The Sun will shine once more..... What was written and said can never be taken back..... My friends know who and what I am.... I see the world so clearly through their eyes.... I will have my day to say my say....Till then I must wait till another day.... I took a look at my life and saw how BLESSED I am... I have great friends and Family and a life filled with health.... I can see, walk and dance....... Turn World Turn... So the gray days can change too blue skies…

.... So today I just can't stop myself from thinking about the awesome and inspiring message I heard at church. I am not one of those Christians that force my religious view unto others. So friends please don't see this blog as one of those things. My Blog is all about my life and those that have inspired me....

OK, enough admin let me start with this awesome quote from church: "Who we will be in 5 years is determined by what we read today and with whom we are befriended right now."

What a revelation this was to me.... Our Pastor had this inspiring message about Love, life and friendships.... (yet again thanks to Carien that I became part of this awesome place).

The message was just all about how we should watch who we allow into our lives. What Pastor Andre said was not to look down on people or to think your better than them, but rather to watch out that these people don't influence us in a negative way. The most basic and powerful way to connect to another person is to listen. Just listen. Perhaps the most important thing we ever give each other is our attention.... A loving silence often has far more power to heal and to connect than the most well-intentioned words.

They say that words and the tongue can have immense powers. I mean God created the World with words.

Two years back I gave this African Lady that works for someone in my complex a ride. While driving she asked me how I was.... My reaction was the same as always: "I am broke.." and then the surprise of my life...

This women that I gave a ride turned to me and said: "No your not. You should never say that, because words have power... No matter if you have nothing always say you are blessed... You have a car, food and some where to sleep..I mean you can see, hear and walk.."

At first I was taken aback and upset with her. I mean how dare she tell me what to say and think... In my heart I knew what she said is true... I mean she was a Zimbabwean lady with no home really living far from her home country and still she thought she was blessed....
