Singer and Songwriter Shawn Mcdonald has really inspired me with his music and lyrics.... I have been playing the Roots CD non stop in my car for the past two weeks... I just love the music on this Album....  He has always written some powerful stuff.... Well done Shawn...
The Title really grabbed my attention since I feel like a tree lately standing in the middle of a storm.  The winds are blowing me side to side and i feel like i will break in two of fall over.  When storms come in our marriages, relationships, Family life, with our kids, work and life we need to be grounded firmly.  Should we not be rooted we will fall apart...  I know it seems easy to talk about being rooted but it is not.... When you are in the middle of the storms we don't think about the time when there was no storm...

Karen Kingsbury has always been one of my favorite authors.... She knows just how to capture my attention with her books.... They are relevant in today's world and one can easily identify with one of her characters...  Her Baxter family series was just mind blowing, but of all her books this series is my favorite....

Of course the series starts out in New York City during 9/11, which we all know was a tragic and heartbreaking time in history.... For my birthday I got the third installment in this series and it was just as brilliant as the first two.... One Tuesday Morning, which is the first book in the series, immediately caught my attention and the fact that her books are easy to read is a bonus....  I want to read the Series from the start again...

I don't want to let the cat out of the bag, but if you have not read the books by Karen... GO GET ONE NOW.... they are brilliant... even if you don't like to read I promise you will not be able to put them down....

You know when death comes it sometimes comes sudden and swift.... I never thought that Oom Hendrik would die so young and Sudden...
"Although we didn't understand him well..."  His sister put it this way ... He was a happier and better person since was married to my mom.  My mom loved him and he loved her and that is all that is important.... The shock of him dying in the middle of the night so sudden still feels unreal.... He was taken so sudden and I can not imagine what went through my mom's mind when she tried to wake him only to found that he was already slipping away.. She watched him die in her arms....
She says she can not sleep in the room or bed where it happened.... I can not blame her to have someone you loved so much die in your arms with no one to help or assist you....
I told my mom today that the past two weeks feel like a blur.... 
I know now he is in Heaven awaiting her to come and join him one day..…

Decided to get a DVD on Thursday... a Early start to the weekend...

"Something Borrowed" looked interesting.... I was not in the mood for a think and figure out movie.... So a Romantic comedy always seems like a good choice .. The fact that it is set in one of my favorite places in the world Helps..... he ha he ha.... I just Love New York and if you throw the Hamptons into the mix we are all good....

Well it is about these to friends, played by Kate Hudson and Ginnifer Goodman, that have been like soul mates all their life... Now Kate Hudson is getting married and as we all know that means less time for each other.... The twist however is that the Ginnifer sleeps with Her best friend's Fiance... Oeps!!!!  Ginnifer and Colin Egglefied, who plays the Fiance, was at law school together and they too have a history..  So as the movie progresses they find it harder to hide their love for one another and the truth has to come out...  Of course their are plenty of secrets that …
