Captured Life of Us

On 702 talk radio they briefly mentioned this cover of the Time magazine.  I was shocked when I saw this cover and felt like the Time Magazine is jumping on the band wagon of making money out of probably the biggest story since Princess Diana died.  I understand to make money newspapers and the print media must have the up to date story... But Oscar has not been found Guilty yet, everyone is already judging him... The court will decide that when the trial start.  We have no right to judge him yet..

The world look at us now as a violent country and maybe it is time South Africa owns up to the fact we live in a violent society.  I mean just the rape and murder of Anne Booysen was horrific enough to make any human's insides turn.  I am not talking about Oscar's case.  I think his tragedy just made the world focus on us.  Where was the world when real violence has been happening?

People outside South Africa doesn't realize how we live…

I was walking in the hospice Charity Book shop and came across this amazing book called "Kinders van die wereld.." It was a book about the world and i just fell in love all over with the South African folk tales.  It was about people that was history changers.  
These stories took me back to grade two when I was just a small child... These were my heroes from history.  This was one of my favorite stories. It is the story of Racheltjie De Beer.  I hope you love it as much as I did.

Toe Racheltjie De Beer se pa so getrek het, het hulle 'n tydjie tussen die Drakenberge in 'n Klein huisie op 'n ander De Beer se plaas gewoon.  Dis nog maar 'n paar weke dat die De beers op die plaa…

It made me realize who my King is... I hope the Pastor that made this is very very Blessed.  He has touched so many people...

You might look at my title and think what is this man talking about, but let me explain where i get this title.

This year started so bad and I am still recovering from a financial loss.  Any way i was lead to find myself a mentor and she turned out to be one of the most amazing women in this Country.  Erika is just a gem... She is stylish, elegant and timeless.  Any way I was so happy i found a mentor: someone to help me and listen to me..... Teach me I said to God... Teach me to listen to this amazing person you give wisdom too....

Any way Erika took me to this amazing business breakfast and after this meeting things started to sink in... It always takes me a while... No one knows why.... I realized the mistakes I made and it made me so mad at myself... I thought How stupid can I have been making such a mess of my life...

But then the Grace came and the word of wisdom closely followed.  Erika patiently listened to me and then asked me most probably the most important question ever:…

Everyone Meet my boy Diesel....
He is only 9 months old but so cute... I love him so much after a long day at work and feeling tired and depressed when i get home he is always at the door happy to see me come home.  
I was working on lampshades at the dinning room table tonight and there Diesel was sleeping on the dinning room chair.  Never leaving my side.  I have a couple of pets and I love them all, but I realized how much Diesel Loves me... 
I was never much of a dog person when i was younger, but the I got Diesel as a gift I just fell in love with him.... I think I just love animals in general and think they are all special....  How can people not love their pets.  I can not understand... They love us no matter if we are fat or thin, tall or short, gorgeous or ugly.... 
I am so Blessed to have pets to keep me company when days are lonely.....
