One year ago I was instructed to ask this amazing women to be my Mentor.  Her name was Erika Prinsloo, One of the top decorators in South Africa....  Now over the years GOD have Blessed me with Tannie Linda that I now call my mom and her beautiful Daughter both Elegant and stylish, women in their own rights.  Examples to me....  Thank You God for them in my Life....

Well at first I wasn't so sure that I was hearing right, but like always I doubted God first... Very Stupid mistake....  We are so different and I never had a Mentor before...Mothers I have lots... LOL . I felt like Moses... LOL I wasn't sure how to ask her to be my mentor and I did not know her well.. I only saw her once or twice in the fabric houses...  I knew I needed business advice from someone in my field of expertise.  I Listened and took the dive... Asked Erika for Coffee.... She was so shocked and said she doesn't know how to be a mentor, but if God asked me to ask her she will try....  Lesson one lea…

It is Christmas Time....

To be honest I feel like we are short of a couple of months before Christmas should have arrived.  What an Insane, crazy and hard year....  Wow... Never want this year over again....

My words Of wisdom is to have FAITH and listen cause the Angels are singing somewhere out there.

I Have a silly ritual, because I don't own a Christmas Tree I have never put one up (They are insanely expensive in South Africa and we don't really have the fresh ones For Sale in this part of the world.) I put my Christmas Cd's of Michael W Smith on in the Kitchen Radio and let his voice fill the house.  It makes me long back to the States.  I loved the white snow covered pavements and the beautifully decorated shop windows.  It makes you feel all warm.  I am making myself a promise this coming year I will put up a tree...

I just get in the Christmas Spirit and feel like baking the whole time....

I was looking for a reciepe on how to make Short Bread.  That is when I stumbled onto this amazing Woman's website.  It was just easy to navigate aroun the page.  The pictures with the easy to follow step by step instructions was Such a help and made my life so much easier. 

Whether you like cooking or baking or not this is the ideal no mess no fuss place to find a good reciepe.  I highly recommned her site "Add a Pinch". 

The site even has a Living and Traveling section with stunning ideas.
