As a child our passage was painted coral.. i really loved the color, but the corol disappeared from the color pallet.
This color brings back fond memories from the past.  it can easily be paired with a grey.. i think the grey makes the corol color pop a little more...


Then in 2015 Corol slowly crept in the 2015 color pallet.  i think that corol will stay in the pallet well into 2016... 
 The color is soft on the eye... i find it to be a classic color ...

Can you Feel it South Africa Summer is coming.....

This is one of the easiest gifts and very inexpensive gifts you will ever make.   You need:
Wooden Spoons,A glass bottle or JarRibbonSome Paint,and some sticky tape

Take the sticky tape and wrap it above where you would like the paint to stop.  Next take a brush and apply the paint.  Give the spoon handle at least three good coats.  Don't apply the coat of paint to thick and give the coat of paint enough time to dry.

Using different colors or Hues of the same color makes for an elegant look.  After the paint has dried use the ribbon to wrap them in a bundle.  place them in the glass jar and there you have a stylish and elegant gift to give to a friend.

Something they can always have around.

TIP: When choosing the colors take into consideration the color scheme of the person you will be giving the gift too.

Family dinner have become very important to me.  They seem to refresh my soul.  Laughing and chatting about things around a table of food has a therapeutic effect on me.  So I keep it simple when cooking for the close family.  Even setting the table i try keep it simple.  As they say Less is More...

Setting a table for an intimate family dinner table I always use some vintage crockery i find in second hand shops.  I Found these two beautiful pieces above for only R 200.  I had the Bowl restored at Radford Antiques as it had a crack in for another R100.  Not expensive at all.  Could not buy new bowls like these for the price i got them.    

I used a Plain white square plate and some beautiful Crystal glasses with our grandmothers gold plates cutlery set.

NOTE: Please try use fabric napkins.  Paper napkins to be used at Children's parties, BBQ's and Picnics.

As you can see I kept it simple.

Now all you need is your Family and good conversation.

Most people are put off by the thought of making their kids rooms black and white.  Just look at how beautiful black and white can be used in a kids Room.  #kidsroom #poshkids #kidsdesigns
Simple storage like this can easily be made in a weekend DIY project.

Here is How:

Get four square untreated Pine square's.  Use screws and wood glue to join the square blocks together.  The paint them till they are white and black.  The door pieces are not necessary.  If you want to attach them ask the hardware store to cut two pieces and attach them with door hinges you can buy at the hardware store.
